Why is it called Bio Shampoo?

It combines the goodness of many herbs with bio-enzymes, that is why we have named it Bio Shampoo.

What are the benefits of bio-enzymes in this shampoo?

Bio enzymes maintain natural pH of hair and scalp and unclogs hair roots so that nutrients can reach to the roots.

 

Does It have any fragrance?

It has natural citrusy fragrance of bio-enzymes. We have not added any other fragrance.

 

Does it contain Sulphates and Parabens?

No. It does not contain SLS/Sulphates or Parabens.

 

Does it give lather?

It does give lather but not as much as other chemical based shampoos since it is sulphate free.

 

For what hair type is this shampoo?

Can be used for all hair types. But it will work best if oil is not applied before using this shampoo as it does not contain any harsh surfactants to remove this additional oil.

 

Does it leave behind any fragrance in hair after rinsing?

No, it does not leave any lingering scent after thorough rinsing.

 

Do I need to use a conditioner after using this shampoo?

Even though it has aloe vera gel and vegetable glycerine in it, you may use a conditioner depending upon your liking and hair texture.

 

How much quantity is required for one wash?

Depends on hair length and volume but it is advised to use it twice in one sitting.

 

If there is no fragrance added, why does it have citrusy smell?

Citrusy smell is of bio-enzymes prepared from the peels of citrus fruits.

 

Will it work in case I have applied oil on my hair?

We recommend that you should avoid applying oil on hair before using this shampoo. Since, our shampoo contains aloe vera gel and glycerine, most probably you will not feel the need to apply oil. However, in case you still need to apply oil then our shampoo might not work as it does not contain any harsh surfactants to remove this additional oil.

 

Will it make my hair dry?

No, it should not, as it contains aloe vera gel and glycerine. If you still feel the dryness, you may use little conditioner thereafter.

 

Does it prevent hair fall?

In the long run, when used regularly, it should help in controlling hair fall as it is rich in amla, reetha, shikakai.

 

Is it handmade?

Yes. We make it in small batches to preserve the authenticity of the whole process.

 

How to use it?

Apply liberally to wet hair and scalp. Gently massage for a couple of minutes. Do not worry about lather formation as it is a bio-shampoo. Cleansing will happen even with less lather. Rinse well with water. Repeat the process twice.

 

Is it safer than normal Shampoos?

Yes, as it does not contain any harsh chemicals, sulphates or parabens.
